Report on the Inauguration of the 10 kW Solar Power Plant
On the 10th of May 2025, Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Matriculation School had the honor of inaugurating a 10 KW Solar Power Plant on its campus generously donated by M/s Shriram Chits India Pvt. Ltd., This significant milestone marks the institution’s firm commitment toward sustainable and eco-friendly energy practices.
This initiative not only supports our vision for environmental responsibility but also provides a reliable energy source for the school’s digital infrastructure—most notably the Interactive Smart Boards previously donated by M/s Shriram Chits India Pvt. Ltd.The solar plant is expected to considerably reduce our electricity expenditure and simultaneously promote a culture of green consciousness among our students.
The inaugural function was held in the presence of Revered monks, Teachers, and Students. The solar power plant was formally inaugurated by Sri K. Mohanasundaram, A.D, TNEB,Tirupattura long-time devotee, donor, and well-wisher of our Math and School. We take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Sri Mohanasundaram for being the key facilitator and instrumental force behind the successful installation of this power plant.
The program concluded with a prayerful dedication, followed by words of appreciation and acknowledgment to the CSR Team of particularly M/s Shriram Chits India Pvt. Ltd., from school authorities.
