By the grace of Sri Ramakrishna, a humble function was organized to celebrate the inauguration of the renovated Ramakrishna Math building at Pudur, Vaniyambadi.
This sacred building, originally dedicated to the service of humanity in 1897 by Sri Venkataswami Naidu, has a rich spiritual legacy. It was sanctified by the holy presence of Swami Ramakrishnanandaji Maharaj and Swami Abhedanandaji Maharaj, both direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna.
At present, the Math is actively engaged in community service through a Free Tailoring Training Institute for the benefit of economically disadvantaged women from nearby villages. This noble initiative is lovingly overseen by a senior woman devotee, and training is imparted by a dedicated instructor to 20 women per batch. Upon the successful completion of the six-month course, each trainee is provided with a sewing machine, empowering them with a means of livelihood and self-reliance.
The inauguration programme included Bhajans, a Spiritual discourse, and Arati, followed by Noon meal Prasadam. The event was graced by the presence of Swami Chaturbhujanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Chengam, who was the Chief Guest.
