26th Free Cataract Surgery Eye Camp – Service to Humanity
The 26th Free Cataract Surgery Eye Camp was successfully organized on 16 November 2025 with the dedicated support of Chennai Aravind Eye Hospital, continuing our ongoing mission to provide accessible and sincere eye care to the underprivileged.
A total of 280 patients from nearby villages participated in the camp. Each patient underwent a detailed eye examination by trained medical professionals. Among them, 104 patients were identified for immediate Cataract surgery.
In addition to surgical support, 50 patients received spectacles to correct refractive errors and improve their visual clarity.
As part of our hospitality and care, all patients were served lunch before they started for Chennai Hospital, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process.
This camp stands as a testament to our commitment to community welfare and the values of service inspired by Swami Vivekananda.
This initiative aims not only to restore eyesight but also to enhance the overall quality of life for individuals who rely on good vision for their daily activities and livelihood.
