Annual Guru Puja Celebrations

The annual Guru Puja celebrations started with mangalarathi at 5.00 am followed by Bhajans from the boys of our Students Home.
At 8.00 am the decorated Ratham of Shri Guru Maharaj started the procession. The ratham went along the streets of Nattrampalli village and returned to the Math by 12.30 pm.
The Guru Puja public meeting started at 9.00 am with the benediction address from Swami Paramsukhanand Ji Maharaj who spoke about how Sri Ramakrishna has changed the world by showing the spiritual path to the common people. Bhajans were sung by Sri Ramakrishna Hari bhajan group who moved the devotees with their wonderful Naam Sankirtana. Shri Krishna Jagannathan, an eminent speaker inspired the people with his wonderful speech "Bharat and Swami Vivekananda''. About 1500 devotees partook of the noon prasad.
The Afternoon session started at 2:30 p.m. Musical Oration "An Ocean of Mercy on the Banks of Ganga" was performed by Sentamil Warithi K. Dattatreyan and Maha Periyava Bhajan Mandali Group, Coimbatore. People from nearby villages attended the function throughout the day.

On the occasion of Guru Puja festival, Mahabharata Series Lectures were held on 23rd, 24th and 25th of February in the evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Around 80-120 people attended the lecture series on each day. Prasad was served on all the three days.
