M/s Solaris Computers Pvt Ltd, Chennai, has generously donated 15 sets of computers along with accessories and furniture to our school as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

This valuable contribution marks a significant step towards enhancing digital education facilities for our students.

The newly established computer lab was inaugurated on April 6, 2026, in a solemn and auspicious function. The ceremony began with students lighting the traditional lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. The Correspondent Swamiji performed Arati to Sri Ramakrishna and conducted a special Puja for the newly installed computers, invoking blessings for their effective use.

Following the inauguration, the computers were immediately put to use by the students, marking the beginning of an exciting journey into digital learning. During the event, the Correspondent Swamiji spoke about the consistent support extended by Solaris Computers over the years and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their continued generosity.

The function concluded with the distribution of Prasadam to all attendees. The teaching faculty and students expressed immense joy and appreciation for the newly established computer lab, which will greatly benefit the academic growth of the institution.

30th Free Cataract Surgery Eye Camp – Serving Rural Communities

The 30th Free Cataract Surgery Eye Camp was successfully conducted on 15th March 2026 with the medical support of Aravind Eye Hospital, Chennai. The camp aimed to provide free eye checkups and free cataract surgery to underprivileged and rural communities.

This initiative reflects our continued mission to deliver accessible and quality eye care services to economically weaker sections of society.

Total Beneficiaries of the Free Eye Camp

A total of 287 patients from nearby villages attended the camp and underwent comprehensive eye examinations conducted by experienced ophthalmologists.

Screening Results

✅ 86 patients diagnosed with cataract were selected for immediate free cataract surgery in Chennai.
✅ 37 patients received spectacles to correct refractive errors.
✅ All patients were provided lunch and safe transportation to Chennai for surgery.

This holistic approach ensured dignity, comfort, and proper medical care throughout the process.

Impact of the Free Cataract Surgery Camp

Cataract is one of the leading causes of preventable blindness in India. Through this free eye surgery camp, patients not only regain eyesight but also improve their livelihood, independence, and quality of life.

Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, this service initiative stands as a model of community welfare and humanitarian care.

191st Jayanti Celebration of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna at the Math – 19 February 2026

The191st Jayanti of Sri Ramakrishnawas celebrated with great devotion and spiritual fervour at our Math on 19 February 2026. Devotees gathered in large numbers to participate in the sacred celebrations and offer their prayers on this auspicious day.

The morning (forenoon) programme began with the traditional Mangala Arati, followed by Veda Parayanam, devotional Bhajans, Special Puja, Homa. The entire atmosphere of the Math was filled with devotion, peace, and spiritual joy as devotees participated wholeheartedly in the Puja, Bhajan and prayers.

In the afternoon, after the Prasad, a Special Nama Sankirtanam programme was conducted from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Devotees also sang devotional songs along with the Singer and enjoyed the divine life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna.

Throughout the day, nearly 400 devotees participated in the celebrations and received spiritual inspiration and blessings.

On this sacred occasion, we pray to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna that He may bless everyone withpeace, prosperity, spiritual progress, and a long healthy life. Jai Sri Ramakrishna!

Republic Day 2026 Celebration Highlights

The program began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. Students, teachers, and others gathered to honor the Constitution of India and remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters who shaped the nation.

The 28th Free Cataract Surgery Eye Camp was successfully conducted on 18th January 2025, with the dedicated medical support of Aravind Eye Hospital, Chennai. This initiative reaffirmed our continued commitment to providing quality eye care to underprivileged and rural communities. quality eye care to underprivileged and rural communities.
A total of 160 patients from nearby villages participated in the camp. All patients underwent comprehensive eye examinations conducted by experienced ophthalmologists and medical professionals.
Following the screening:
46 patients were identified with cataract conditions and were selected for immediate free cataract surgery
20 patients were provided with spectacles to correct refractive errors, greatly enhancing their vision and quality of life
As part of ourholistic patient care approach, lunch was served to all patients before they were safely transported to Chennai for surgery, ensuring comfort, care, and dignity throughout the process.
This eye camp stands as a living example of selfless service and community welfare, inspired by the teachings ofSwami Vivekananda. Beyond restoring eyesight, the initiative helps improve livelihoods and daily life for those who depend on clear vision for their work and independence.

National Youth Day Celebration & Competitions – 08.01.2026

Sri Ramakrishna Math joyfully conducted the National Youth Day Celebration on 08 January 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, with a series of inspiring competitions for school students. The programme was aimed at encouraging youth to imbibe Swamiji’s ideals of character, confidence, and service.

A total of 22 schools enthusiastically participated in the event, with 162 students taking part in various competitions. The competitions included Essay Writing, Elocution, Recitation, and Drawing, providing students with a platform to express their creativity, thoughts, and talents inspired by the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

All participating schools were presented with mementos as a token of appreciation. Every student who took part in the competitions received a certificate of participation, a cash award of ₹100, and books authored on Swami Vivekananda, encouraging continued learning and inspiration.

Winners of each competition were awarded as follows:

First Prize: Certificate, ₹1,000 cash prize, and Swamiji’s books

Second Prize: Certificate, ₹600 cash prize, and Swamiji’s books

Third Prize: Certificate, ₹400 cash prize, and Swamiji’s books

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration – 10 January 2026

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was devotionally celebrated at our Math on 10 January 2026 in a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Devotees gathered in large numbers to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and to immerse themselves in prayer, reflection, and service.

The celebration began in the early morning with Mangala Arati followed by Vedaparayanam, Surabhatam and special Bhajan. Then Special Puja and Homa were conducted according to the traditional Vedic rituals of the Ramakrishna Order. This was followed by Sri Ramakrishna Ashtottara Shata Nama Archanai, during which the 108 sacred names of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna were reverently chanted.

A special lecture on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda was delivered on this auspicious occasion by Swami Parambikanandaji Maharaj. The discourse helped devotees reflect upon his holy life and universal message.

The speaker highlighted Swamiji’s ideals of purity, renunciation, patience, compassion, and selfless service, inspiring devotees to follow his noble path and ideals in their own lives.

Nearly 350 devotees from Nattarampalli, Ambur, Vaniyambadi, and Krishnagiri participated in the Jayanti celebrations. Their heartfelt involvement in witnessing the Puja, chanting Namavali and Bhajans, and offering Pushpanchali prayers reflected deep devotion and faith. All devotees felt blessed to receive the grace of Swami Vivekananda.

After the Maha Arati, Prasadam was served to all devotees at noon.

In the evening, following the Sandhya Arati, a special Bhajans Programme by Sri R.C. Dinesh and party was conducted in the school premises. The devotional singing further elevated the spiritual atmosphere, and Prasadam was again distributed to all after the Bhajans.

The Swami Vivekananda Jayanti celebration concluded in a calm and prayerful manner. The observance renewed the spiritual inspiration of the devotees and strengthened their resolve to live according to the lofty ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

Staff Pilgrimage & Devotees Conference | December 2025

As part of our ongoing commitment to spiritual and cultural development, our staff members participated in the Ramakrishna–Vivekananda Devotees Conference held at Elumalai, Madurai, followed by a four-day spiritual pilgrimage from 26 to 29 December 2025.

During this pilgrimage, the staff visited several prominent temples in Tamil Nadu, including Namakkal Anjaneya Temple, Karur Pashupateeshwara Temple, Tirupparankundram Murugan Temple, Meenakshi Amman Temple, Alagar Koil, and other sacred pilgrimage centres. These temple visits enriched the participants with devotion, discipline, and spiritual inspiration.

The devotees conference and pilgrimage reflected the timeless teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Mother Sri Sarada and Swami Vivekananda, strengthening faith, unity, and a spirit of selfless service among the staff. This spiritually uplifting journey continues to inspire commitment to values, harmony, and dedicated service to society.
